James Zammit
Chief Executive Officer
James Zammit is the Chairman of Zammit Holdings and is one of the most up-and-coming and dynamic entrepreneurs of his generation in Malta. During 2013, he set up Finance House and initially the organisation focused on offering loans for vehicle purchases and debtor factoring to car dealers via a regulated lending structure. During 2015, he also set up Zammit Finance which successfully issued a bond of Euro 6 million allowing for the group’s further expansion. Today he is also CEO of Agora Estates plc, a company involved in the buying, selling and management of estates and he also has vested interests in AB Finance. In his role as CEO, James Zammit leads a team of over 50 people, while focusing his time on the development of a strong company strategy for Finance House. James Zammit graduated with a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Edinburgh Business School during 2016.
Audrey Hughes
Chief Corporate Affairs & Planning Officer
Audrey Sacco qualified as an accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2016 and has 10 years of work experience in the field. Audrey has been an instrumental part of Finance House since inception in 2013 in the position of Finance Executive and was promoted to the position of Financial Controller and later to Chief Finance Officer. As from 2017, Audrey is the Chief Business Development and Corporate Affairs Officer of Finance House, where she is responsible for developing the business through implementation of growth strategies and managing the company’s corporate affairs. Over the years and with her financial acumen, Audrey has been key for the growth of Finance House.
Ryan Buttigieg
Chief Operating Officer
Ryan joined Finance House in May 2019 after having worked within the Maltese industry for the past 20 years holding various senior management roles within operations, commercial and marketing spheres. Ryan’s experience in operations spans for over 12 years with a leading automotive group where he was key lead in change management exercises including two significant mergers, leading corporate, cultural and organisational change across various teams whilst spearheading business growth. Ryan draws on these experiences to lead the transformation of Finance House to provide a completely new retail experience for its customers whilst ensuring the smooth running of the operation. Ryan has read for an MSc in Marketing with the University of Leicester and holds an MBA from Henley Business School, UK.
Anne Marie Zammit
Head of Human Resources
Anne Marie heads the HR function at Zammit Holdings and is responsible for the full HR life cycle including employer branding, onboarding, retention, performance and talent management. She is an experienced HR professional (Chartered Membership,CIPD), with over 20 years’ experience in the field of all areas of human resources, within Malta and the UK. Anne Marie has worked in a number of industries including professional services, IT, UK government, and the luxury 5 star hotel industry. Anne Marie successfully completed a Masters Degree in Human Resources from the University of Westminster Business School in London, UK and is also a qualified Six Sigma black belt with experience in process improvement and change management.
Paula Gatt Baldacchino
Group Treasurer
Paula Gatt Baldacchino joined Finance House Plc in July 2018 as an accountant after having spent a number of years working for one of Malta’s big 4 firms. Given her extensive experience within the audit industry and her drive to propel growth in a fast evolving Finance House Plc, she has moved on to form and lead the Treasury department for the group as Group Treasurer. Through the exposure gained in dealing with numerous clients and vendors along with her audit experience over the years, Paula nurtured the right ingredients to steer and continue managing the treasury function into the right direction. Paula has successfully completed a Masters in Accounting at the University of Malta in 2016.
